When the Levee Broke (Inside Me)

Completed in 2016 during my senior year of high school, this was my first finished oil painting. The piece was deeply influenced by a boy I loved- someone I once considered my best friend- and by the music that defined that time in my life.

Through him, I immersed myself in rock 'n' roll, and Led Zeppelin became a constant soundtrack to my emotions. This painting serves as a personal tribute to that formative season- to youthful devotion, heartbreak, and the music that carried me through it.
