I created this painting the day the presidential results of 2024 were announced. I felt anger. I felt sadness. I felt the weight of what women around the nation were carrying in that moment.
In desperate urgency, I painted quickly with acrylic, allowing emotion to lead rather than precision. This piece is a declaration: we deserve bodily autonomy, we deserve safety, and we deserve leadership that value women's lives.
